Thanks for hoping over from Liz's blog.   I must say I am not happy with my card this week.  I have been working on convention swaps and almost forgot about today's challenge.  Now if you really want to see creativity at work go on over to Sandy's blog.  I promise to try harder next week.

Our new challenge in the "Morning Chat Group", hosted by Donna at Butternut Sage Designs was to use Baker's Twine in a focal point.  I chose Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade & Calypso Coral in the Baker's Twine and International Bazaar DSP.  Each balloon is backed in Chocolate Chip and the card base is Lucky Limeade.  I am pleased with the way it turned out and I hope you enjoy as well.

Hello Everyone and Welcome!  I'm glad you hopped over from  Liz's blog.  I really like what she did this week.  The color challenge this week is with Pacific Point, so I chose the combo: Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry.  If Rich Razzleberry is a choice, I am going to pick it every time.  It is my FAV!!!  At first I had some difficulty coming up with an idea, but I am very pleased with the way it turned out.  I hope you like it as well.  Now for an extra special treat hop on to Sandy's blog because she is always coming up with new techniques and ideas.  She is so creative, enjoy!

Real Red Color Challenge

Thanks for hopping over from Liz's blog www.lizzystamps.wordpress.com .  This week as you know Real Red was the color from the Color Coach.  I felt like the color combo for Real Red, Bashful Blue and Crumb Cake was very French.  However, I did two different cards.  Please let me know which you like best.  Now please hop on over to Sandy's blog www.icemountaindesigns.blogspot.com to see how she has used Real Red in her card.  I'm sure you will love it, because I always enjoy seeing what she comes up with during our challenges.

Well, Donna (Butternut Sage Designs) has challenged us with a masculine card or Father's Day card.  My Father has always been a strong figure in my life, so I made this card for him.  I hope he likes it.  The card stock I used is Soft Suede, Crumb Cake & So Saffron.  The ink used was Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Saraha Sand & So Saffron.  I have also used the Houndstooth embossing folder.  The stamps used were Zoo Review and Inspired by Nature.
